BGB Staking Is Now Live on Morph
Following the integration of Chainlink CCIP as the exclusive cross-chain standard for BGB, the first native BGB staking pool on Morph is now live. BGB holders can stake directly on the network that serves as BGB's home chain.
Why This Matters
Native staking on Morph means holders can earn yield directly on the network where BGB functions as the gas token. For holders who have already migrated to the new CCIP-enabled BGB, this is the first opportunity to put that position to work on Morph itself.
Pool Details
The first staking pool is a fixed-period pool:
- APY: 5%
- Pool cap: 2,000,000 BGB
- Staking period: 90 days (fixed)
- Per wallet cap: 20,000 BGB
The pool has a hard cap, so early participants secure their allocation on a first-come, first-served basis.
How to Stake
You can stake BGB in two ways:
- Bitget Wallet - Stake directly from within the wallet interface
- Morph Staking Page — Stake via the dedicated page at morph.network/tokenomics/bgbstaking
If you are still holding legacy BGB on Morph, you will need to migrate to the new CCIP-enabled version first. The simplest way to do this is through the token swap in Bitget Wallet, which requires no gas fees. For a full walkthrough of the migration process, see the BGB CCIP Token Migration Guide.
What Comes Next
As the ecosystem grows and more BGB supply migrates to the network, additional staking and yield opportunities will follow.
